We believe that we are to carry the Kingdom of God as ambassador representatives everywhere we go. Jesus displayed this as the first of a new breed of man, a Spirit filled man, and role- modeled what we were to do as Spirit-filled sons and daughters of the Kingdom.
The desire of God is to have a people who will rightly display His glory and the power of the Kingdom throughout the nations. Our desire is the same. Through a series of life altering events that would become the darkest three years of their family history, Clay Stubbs found his way back to his hometown in Pine Bluff. Dazed and numb from the pain of losing everything, God led Clay back to the place he preached his first sermon over 20 years ago.
We are right in the middle of the third most impoverished city in the nation known for its crime, homicides and gang affiliations. According to the 2012 Metro Crime Rate Rankings, Pine Bluff, Ar is number 2 out of 358 Metro Areas, just one notch below Detroit, Michigan for most dangerous places to live. We are here to confront the darkness and display his Power, as we bless this broken city. God said he would take the foolish and confound the wise. We believe the best is yet to come!!
These are some of the decisions that define who we are as a community and how we live our lives. These decisions are not destinations but rather journeys, journeys along an ancient path. We've not found some new way but rather we've discovered the path as old as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The same path followed by Moses, Joshua, Caleb, Paul, John, and Peter, a path followed by the first century church, a church that revolutionized the culture of the first century and beyond.
It's a path that will impact the world we live in today. It's a path of bold Faith, believing that what God says is really true and acting on it. It's a path of outrageous generosity, giving our life away in order to demonstrate His kingdom. It's a path of radical love, loving God with everything in us and our neighbors as ourselves. It's a path of liberty, freedom, and healing. On this path, you will find significance, purpose, and destiny. It's a path less traveled, however it's not a path only available to a select few but to whosoever will may come. No matter where you are on this life journey, there's room on this path for you.
